The Operations team is the heart of the company; they organise everything that goes on behind the scenes of Support Revolution. Often an undervalued area of a company, a lot of investment, both time and financial, has gone into our Operations department in the last 18 months. As a company growing so quickly and looking forward to continuing this growth, we recognise how important it is to invest in our foundations early on, with a key part of this being our Operations department. One great example of this was bringing our Recruitment team fully internal. This has led to a great increase in the number of hires, as well as the great quality of the candidates going for those roles.
A strong candidate for our Operations department should have good communication and a great sense of humour to gel with the team. The team can be found regularly hosting social events such as dinners, nights out, team building activities and, of course, gathering around the beer fridge for a free beer at 4pm. Yes, that’s right – to encourage the company’s social side between teams, all employees are invited to join together at 4pm for a beer!
Our HR team are the drivers of our company culture. They organise all company events from team building events to the Christmas parties. During 2020 and into 2021, as the office works from home, the HR team take an active interest in making sure all employees are settled well in their home working environments and maintain employee happiness at home just as much as they do in the offices.
The Recruitment team really have been kept busy in the last couple of years with our staff headcount increasing 30% in 2020 and expected to double in 2021. This has been driven by our new internal recruitment team and worldwide hiring plans. Because the company is growing so quickly, we are always on the lookout for talented recruiters to help drive Support Revolution to meet the market demand for our services. Last but by no means least, there’s our Finance team. Support Revolution is quite quickly expanding into new regions and offices, meaning Finance has really taken on a whole different role over the last few years. Members of the team regularly work with clients and suppliers across the world developing new skills as they go. With the company growing so quickly, strong finance candidates would have an eye for detail and keen reporting knowledge.
