Retail-J overview

Oracle Retail-J is a Point of Sale (POS) system that was originally developed by Torex and later acquired by Oracle.

It is designed to manage essential retail processes, including recording sales data, tracking inventory, and processing payment transactions. This is done through a three-tiered architecture that encompasses transaction management at the till, store server, and central server levels. Built on Java, Retail-J provides features for inventory management and sales processing.
