For SAP customers, subscription-based software, like SAP S/4HANA, isn’t able to be moved to third-party support.

Not covered by third-party support

Subscription licensed software is not able to be supported by third parties. For example, Oracle Fusion systems on Oracle Cloud, or SAP S/4HANA hosted by SAP.

As well as this, there are also some services and issues that are not covered by third-party support and would require added services to be supported. Some of these include:

  • Performance issues – usually related to hardware or space issues, these are not covered by third-party support and should be referred to your Level 2 support partner, or Support Revolution customers could also use Enhancement Days
  • Upgrade system issues – if issues occur after upgrading your system this will likely be upgrade-related and would require you to communicate with your upgrade partner
  • Patch implementation – we will supply the patching for you, but will not implement it for you (unless we are your AMS provider)

Third-Party support is for critical support and maintenance of your systems. If you need added support or implementation aid, Revolutionary Managed Services can be added to your contract.
